theBalm’s DownBoy is one of my favorite blushes. This blush is a baby pink and looks very soft and natural on the cheeks. This blush appears matte to me but I can see tiny pieces of shimmer in the pan but in my experience it doesn’t show once applied which is fine with me. The blush is very soft and finely milled so it blends easily and doesn’t look powdery on the skin. DownBoy is also marketed as an eye shadow but I have not used it as one. I used to keep this in my makeup bag since that’s where I keep my daily products but it’s started to break inside of my makeup bag. Now I have to keep it in my makeup drawer to prevent it from breaking further. The only reason I can think why it broke was because it’s so finely milled, other than that I don’t throw my makeup bag around or anything like that. I think this blush would good for fairer skin tones and would appear as a slight pink tone on darker skin tones. This is a good quality, long lasting blush that I would highly recommend. This is currently on sale on Hautelook!
