It’s always good to treat yourself and this palette is a real treat! The Shadow Bon Bons palette from Too Faced is full of soft neutral shades that are appropriate for any occasion. This palette originally came out as a part of the Too Faced holiday 2012 collection but I didn’t get around to purchasing it until now and I absolutely love it! Two of the shades have appeared in other palettes: Cut the Cake is from the Romantic Eye palette and Nude Beach is from the Natural Eye palette. All of the shadows are buttery smooth except for Framboise, which is a little coarse because of the glitter. The glittery shades do have some fallout so if you don’t want it falling on your cheeks place a card under your eye to catch the glitter. All of the shades are pigmented and blend nicely. Included with the palette are the LashGASM mascara and Shadow Insurance in Candlelight. LasGASM has a flexible wand which makes it a little weird when putting the wand back in the bottle but nothing too out of the ordinary. The bristles on the mascara wand are plastic and felt rough when I was trying to swatch it but feel normal when using on the lashes. I don’t see a significant difference with this mascara as compared to other mascaras but it’s not bad. The Shadow Insurance in Candlelight is a great primer. The eye shadows will stick pretty much all day with this primer and the Candlelight tint gives a beautiful golden base for your shadows. The instruction booklet that comes with the palette has 3 beautiful eye looks that look great any time of the day. The packaging is a little bulky making this a less “travel friendly” palette. There is velvet on the outside of the palette so I decided to keep the box it came in to prevent it from getting dirty. Overall this palette is a great value and would recommend it to anyone! You can buy this palette on Too Faced’s website and it’s currently on sale!
