Using a color base before applying your eye shadow can create a more pigmented look and create more dimension. The MAC Cream Colour Base in Shell is a frost colored soft pink beige with shimmer. This base can be applied with a brush (I use MAC’s 252 brush), your finger, or a sponge. I find the easiest way to apply this base is to use your finger because you can get a nice amount on your finger and it is easy to dab it on with a lot of control. This base makes a nice brow highlight because it’s shimmery and can add more dimension to matte shades. This base would be good as a facial highlighter because it blends really easily since it is cream. This base stays on all day and doesn’t fade. This is a nice base if you enjoying shimmer or are looking for a new highlighter.
