I picked up the Lorac Royal Carpet Full Face Collection on HSN and it’s a really great collection to try out many different Lorac products. This collection includes: an eye shadow in Chateau, an eye shadow in Manor, a blush in Rendezvous, a 3D Liquid Lustre in Diamond, Alter Ego Lipstick in Duchess, Lip Lustre Gloss in Rose Lustre, Cobra Mascara, and a 3-in-1 Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Ultra Black. I am a fan of Cobra Mascara, the brush is shaped like a cobra’s hood and is perfect for grabbing all your lashes – top and bottom. The 3-in-1 Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil Ultra Black comes with a sharpener and a smudger on one side and on the side is the eyeliner itself. The eyeliner does not apply smoothly and is a little difficult to smudge. This eyeliner is truly waterproof and has a long staying power but can be difficult to get off. I’m personally on a big fan of this eyeliner but with a little effort you can make it work. The Alter Ego Lipstick in Duchess is a beautiful nude color. I have an Alter Ego Lipstick in Girl Next Door and the formula feels really dry and looks dry on the lips. Duchess doesn’t feel really dry on the lips but snags when applied. I really like this lipstick, it feels really lightweight and is a really pretty color. The Lip Lustre Gloss in Rose Lustre is a sparkly sheer rose gloss. This gloss is a little on the sticky side and feels a little heavy on the lips but looks nice. Something I don’t like about the gloss is the brush is really small and you need to dunk the brush back in the gloss several times to apply it on your lips. The 3D Liquid Lustre in Diamond is a completely new kind of product for me. To use this product you use the dropper to put one drop of the liquid on your fingers and then you apply it to your eyelids. The Lustre adds a nice sparkle to your eyeshadow and is easy to use. The Lustre dries quickly and doesn’t smudge. The blush in Rendezvous is soft and pigmented. The two eye shadows are pigmented and velvety soft. Chateau is a cream shade that is a good base shade. Manor is brown shade that is good for the crease or all over the lid. This is a good collection filled with really great products.
